"მან შექმნა ყვავილები თავისი ფესვებისგან" (სოფია ჩერქეზიშვილი)

სამხატვრო აკადემიის დიდ საგამოფენო დარბაზში 2010 წლის 25-30 ნოემბერს ჯგუფური გამოფენა გაიმართა. მონაწილეობდნენ: დავით ალექსიძე, ნატალია ამირეჯიბი დე პიტა, მაკა ბატიაშვილი, გია ბუღაძე, თეა თელია, გიორგი კეკელიძე, გურამ კვარცხალაია, როკო ირემაშვილი, კონსტანტინე მინდაძე, ოლეგ ტიმჩენკო, სოფია ჩერქეზიშვილი, შალვა ცხოვრებაძე. ხოლო სამხატვრო აკადემიის სარკეებიან დარბაზში წარმოდგენილი იყო ანტონ ბალანჩივაძის და ანტონ სოკოლოვის - "Freezlight Project“ (სლაიდშოუ).

შესავალი:

100კვ.მ. განფენილი ოქროსფერი ყვავილების სკულპტურული ინსტალაცია (სოფია ჩერქეზიშვილი), ძლიერი თეთრი ნათებით „პანდორას ყუთი“ (დავით ალექსიძე) და ნეონის (წითელი, ყვითელი, ლურჯი) „პლანეტარიუმი“ (კონსტანტინე მინდაძე) წინანდლში, ჭავჭავაძეების სასახლის ეზოში გარეექსპოზიციისთვის შეიქმნა, ჟურნალი „ტაბულას“ მხარდაჭერით - ტრადიცია/ინოვაცია კონცეფტის ფორმატში.

დახვეწილი, მხატვრული გემოვნებით გამორჩეული ჭავჭავაძეების სასახლის მიმდებარე ტერიტორიის დღევანდელი ვიზუალური ხელოვნების მეტაენით დატვირთვა მიმართული იყო თავისებურად უნიკალური განცდის აუცილებლობის გაჩენისაკენ - ისტორიულ ზონაში შექმნილიყო პრეცენდენტი გარეგამოფენისა - მოდერნისტული, ჰიპოთეტური მულტისენსორული, ხელოვნების ფარგლებში.

წინანდლის გამოფენა იყო ფუნდამენტი, რაზეც აიგო სამხატვრო აკადემიაში ახალი ექსპოზიციის არქიტექტურა, ხოლო კურატორების მხრიდან, სხვა ავტორების დამატების, არსებულიდან სელექციის და ახალი ნამუშევრების შექმნის სტიმული გახდა.

გამოფენის შესახებ:

გარე სივრციდან, „პლენერიდან‟ სამხატვრო აკადემიის „SHOWROOM‟-ში გადმოტანილმა ინსტალაციებმა ხელოვნური განათებების აუცილებლობა გააჩინა. შესაბამისად, წარმოქმნილი შუქ-ჩრდილის დიქოტომია ტრანსფორმირდა - არა ტოტალურად, არამედ „გამოყენებითად“, აქცენტების დასმით, ხოლო ქაოტურად წარმოქმნილი ბლიკები, ნახევარტონები, რეფლექსები და დარბაზის ჭრელ იატაკზე დაცემული ჩრდილები დამთვალიერებელს თავისებურ ილუზორულ ველს სთავაზობდა, სადაც თითოეული მხატვარი თავის ნამუშევარს წარადგენდა „საჩვენებლად“. კურატორების აზრით, „SHOWROOM“ის ფორმატი თვისობრივად განსხვავებული აღქმის და თვითრეფლექსიის საშუალებას იძლეოდა...

In the Mirror Hall of Tbilisi State Academy of Art was presented by Anton Balanchivadze and Anton Sokolov - "Freezlight Project“ (slideshow) .

Introduction:

The sculptural installation of golden flowers (Sophia Cherkezishvili) covering 100 square meters with strong white lightening ,, Pandora’s box” (David Alexsidze) and Neon (red, yellow , blue) ,,Planetarium’’ (konstantine Mindadze) were created for the outdoor exposition in Tsinandali with the support of the magazine ,,Tabula” within the frame of the conception - Innovation/Tradition .

The conduction of outdoor exhibition of contemporary visual art in the historical zone such as Chavchavadze’s palace is the first precedent conditioning unique feeling, the outdoor exhibition within the frame of modern, Hypothetic, multisesnsual art..

Tsinandali exhibition was a base on which the constitution of the new exposition was made. The adding of other authors by the curators became a stimula for selection of the works from old ones and new works.

On the exhibition

The transfer of the installations from outside to ,, Showroom’’ of Academy required artificial lightening. The special accents are made. On light and reflections.The shadows and lightening create mystic atmosphere. Each of works had their own lightening . In opinion of curators ,, showroom” format gives possibility for different impression and self-reflection.
Visually modest forms – Cube, .. the video animation projection, luminophore colours, creative poetry , artificial flowers, neon lights are manipulating with the lights in multicolored visualized conceptions. It will give strong emotional drive to the spectator “ as the shadow can replace the light”

Secular and Ecclesiastical Legal Monuments in Georgia

Legal sense had been developing in Georgia since ancient times and the process of its formation went in parallel with the development of statehood. For a long time social life was regulated by so called „unwritten laws“ or customary laws as well as by „written“ laws or the legislation sanctioned by the State. At the early stages of Christianity Old Testament „Sjuli“ or so called Laws of Moses and Byzantine ecclesiastical legislation were operating in Georgia.

The oldest legal monuments, which have survived to this day, are Royal Charters of the 11th century. They serve as evidence of the developed legal institutions and legal practice.

Georgian legal monuments are divided into two categories: Ecclesiastical and Secular. The Codes of Laws by Beqa and Aghbugha, and Giorgi V Brtskinvale compiled at the end of the 13th century and during the whole 14th century are the oldest original legal monuments of secular character. Ecclesiastical legal monuments are even older. At the beginning of the 11th century the Minor Book of Law (“Mtsire Sjuliskanoni“) was translated from Greek. The Great Book of Law (“Didi Sjuliskanoni“) was also translated from Greek at the end of 11th century.

Twenty two samples of legal monuments kept in the National Centre of Manuscripts are presented at the exhibition.

Among them are charters signed by King Tamar, Bagrat IV, Giorgi III, King Solomon of Imereti, Giorgi XII, Erekle II and other officials, also „Dasturlamali“ or Civil Service Regulations compiled by King Vakhtand VI in 1707-1709.

The aim of the exhibition is to raise public awareness on the history of medieval secular and ecclesiastical justice in Georgia.
The exhibition has been prepared by UNDP "Support to Justice System" project, Tbilisi City Court and Contemporary Art Club (CAC).

დიდი საგამოფენო დარბაზის მენეჯმეტი

დარბაზის მენეჯმენტს ახორციელებს სამხატვრო აკადემიის რექტორის ბრძანებით შექმნილი საბჭო, რომელიც დაკომპლექტებულია ცხრა წევრით. მასში შემავალი წევრები წარმოადგენენ აკადემიის ფაკულტეტებს და ადმინისტრაციას. საბჭოს ხელმძღვანელობს აკადემიის რექტორი. საბჭო უფლებამოსილია განიხილოს აკადემიის დიდ საგამოფენო დარბაზთან დაკავშირებული განცხადება თუ წინადადება. ასევე სხვადასხვა განაცხადებისა და აკადემიის ინტერესებიდან გამომდინარე ადგენს საგამოფენო დარბაზში ჩასატარებელ გამოფენათა და სხვა ღონისძიებათა წლიურ გეგმას.

საბჭო განიხილავს მხოლოდ წერილობით შემოსულ განაცხადებს. ის იკრიბება კვირაში ერთხელ, სამშაბთობით და გადაწყვეტილებას იღებს ხმათა უმრავლესობით.

საგამოფენო დარბაზის მახასიათებლები

საგამოფენო დარბაზი წარმოადგენს ახლად რეაბილიტირებულ სივრცეს. რომლის მთლიანი ფართობიც შეადგენს 320 კვადრატულ მეტრს (40მX8მ). დარბაზი დაყოფილია ორ სხვადასხვა ტიპის სივრცედ, აღჭურვილია გათბობა-კონდიცირების სისტემით, სამუზეუმო და საგალერეო სტანდარტების შესაბამისი თანამედროვე განათების სისტემით, პროექტორითა და ხმის გამაძლიერებელი სისტემით. ნამუშევრების განთავსება შესაძლებელია 100 გრძივი მეტრის მქონე კედლებზე, სპეციალურ საკიდებზე. ნამუშევრების საკიდებიდან იატაკამდე 4 მეტრი, ხოლო იატაკიდან ჭერის ბოლო წერტილამდე 9 მეტრი.

სამუშაო დღეები და საათები

დარბაზი მუშაობს ორშაბათიდან - პარასკევამდე, სამუშაო საათებია 11:00-18:00. შაბათ - კვირას დარბაზის ფუნქციონირება მიიჩნევა არასამუშაო დატვირთვად, რაც აისახება დარბაზის ქირავნობის ტარიფზე. 

დარბაზის ქირავნობის ტარიფი

დარბაზის გამოყენება ღონისძიებებისათვის დაკავშირებულია სხადასხვა სახის ხარჯებთან. დღიური ქირავნობის ტარიფი შეადგენს 170 ლარს, რომელშიც შედის დარბაზის განათების, გათბობა-კონდიცირების, დასუფთავების, დაცვის, გამოფენის ზედამხედველობის, ნამუშევრების ინსტალაციისა და დეინსტალაციის ხარჯები. არასამუშაო დღეებში დარბაზის ქირავნობის ტარიფს დაემატება ყოველ არასამუშაო დღეზე დღიური ღირებულების 15 %.

ტარიფები:

1 დან 5 დღემდე - 170 ლარი დღე

1 დან 10 დღემდე - 120 ლარი დღე

დაშვებული იქნება გამონაკლისი იმ შემთხვევაში, თუკი ბორდი მიიჩნევს, რომ შემოსული განაცხადი აკმაყოფილებს სამხატვრო აკადემიის ინტერესებსა და პრიორიტეტებს, როგორც საგანმანათლებლო, ასევე თანამედროვე ხელოვნების წახალისებისა და პოპულარიზაციის კუთხით და განთავისუფლებული იქნება გადასახადისაგან. უპირატესობა მიენიჭება საერთაშორისო პროექტებს, ასევე სხვადასხვა საერთაშორისო ორგანიზაციების მიერ წარმოდგენილ შემოთავაზებებს. გადაწყვეტილებას ბორდი იღებს ხმათა უმრავლესობით. აკადემიის რექტორი 2 ხმის უფლებით სარგებლობს.

საგამოფენო დარბაზში გამოფენებისა და სხვა ღონისძიებების მოწყობისათვის ნებართვის მისაღებად მსურველებმა უნდა წარმოადგინონ შემდეგი დოკუმენტაცია:

განცხადება, აპოლონ ქუთათელაძის სახელობის თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამხატვრო აკადემიის რექტორის სახელზე;

განცხადება იწერება განმცხადებელი ორგანიზაციის ბლანკზე, რომელიც დამოწმებული უნდა იყოს ორგანიზაციის ბეჭდითა და ხელმოწერით;

კერძო პირის შემთხვევაში განცხადებას თან უნდა ერთვოდეს პირადობის მოწმობის/პასპორტის ასლი, საცხოვრებელი ადგილისა და საკონტაქტო ტელეფონის ნომრის მითითებით;

განმცხადებლის CV და პროექტის მიმოხილვა (კონცეფცია, აღწერა). პროექტის მიმოხილვაში უნდა იყოს მითითებული გამოფენისათვის საჭირო დღეების რაოდენობა (გამოფენის ვადები), გამოსაფენი ნამუშევრების რაოდენობა, მიახლოებითი ზომები და მასალა. 

ავტორის (ხელოვანის) პორტფოლიო, ხოლო თუკი პროექტს წარადგენს კურატორი, მაშინ მის მიერ განხორციელებული პროექტების ამსახველი მასალა.

განმცხადებელმა უნდა გაითვალისწინოს შემდეგი:

არასრულყოფილი განაცხადი არ განიხილება;

უარის შემთხვევაში სამეთვალყურეო საბჭო არ არის ვალდებული მიზეზი განმარტოს;

თუ განმცხადებელი თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამხატვრო აკადემიის სტუდენტი ან პედაგოგია, მას შეუძლია განაცხადის შემოტანა მისი ფაკულტეტისა და მიმართულების ხელმძღვანელის ნებართვის გარეშე. საბჭო უფლებამოსილია გადაწყვეტილება მათი რეკომენდაციისგან დამოუკიდებელიად მიიღოს;

განცხადების მიწოდება შესაძლებელია ყოველდღე (შაბათ-კვირის გარდა)

Management of the Academy Big Exhibition Hall

Management of the hall is accomplished by the Board, formed in accordance with the Order, issued by the Rector of the Tbilisi State Academy of Art. The board includes nine members, who are representing the academy faculties and administrations. The board is headed by the Rector and is entitled to consider the proposal or suggestion, concerning the academy big exhibition hall. The board, upon consideration of other proposals and also, taking into account the academy interests, resolves the year-long plan for arranging exhibitions and other activities.

The board will discuss proposals only in written form. The board meets once in a week, on Tuesdays and comes to the conclusion by majority of votes.

Characteristics of the Exhibition Hall

Exhibition Hall is the newly renovated space, the total square area of which is 320 square meters (40X8 m2). The hall is divided in two type spaces, equipped with heating-conditioning systems, modern lightening system corresponding with the museum and gallery standards, as well as, projector and sound enhancing system. Artworks should be located along the walls of 100 meters long, on special holders, distance from the holders to the floor is 4 meters long, and distance from the floor to the highest point of the ceiling is 9 meters.

Acting days and hours

The Exhibition hall is open from Monday to Friday, acting hours: 11:00-18:00 .

Saturday-Sunday is considered to be the extra hours, that will be represented in renting tariffs

Hall renting tariffs

Applying the hall for activities is depended on various types of expenses. The daily renting tariff is 170 GEL, that includes the hall lightening, heating-conditioning, cleaning, protection, exhibition monitoring, artworks installation and de-installation expenses. In non-working days, the hall renting expenses will be added by 15% of the daily tariff for each non-working day.

An exception from the rule may be the case if the board concludes that the proposal satisfies the art academy interests and priorities from an educational point of view, as well as encouragement of contemporary art and its popularization, the proposal will be freed from covering the expenses. The preference will be given to international projects, as well as proposals, presented by various international organizations. The board will have this kind of right only several times in a year. The solution will be achieved by majority of votes. The academy Rector is entitled to have 2 votes.

For beeing accorded permission to arrange exhibitions and other activities in the exhibition hall, the following documentation is needed to be presented:

· Proposal to the name of the Rector of the Tbilisi State Academy of Art, proposal should be written on a letterhead, sealed and signed on behalf of the organizer

· In case of private person, the proposal should be attached by ID Card/passport copy, noting the living place and signature!

· CV of the proposal author and project overview (concept, description). The project overview should include number of days, needed for the noted exhibition (exhibition period), number of artworks, to be exhibited, approximate sizes and material.!

· Portfolio of an author (artist), or materials, representing the realized projects in case the project is presented by a curator!

Author of a propopsal should envisage the following:

· The uncompleted applications shouldn’t be receive!

· In case of refusal, the supervisory board isn’t responsible for explaining the reason!

· If the proposal author is a student or a teacher of the Tblisi State Academy of Art, he/she is entitled to make a proposal without approval of his/her faculty and head of the direction. The board is entitled to conclude without their recommendation.!

The project "You can't change the heartbeat of my country"

In August 2008, the aggressive actions of the Russian military forces caused the Georgian society to go into a state of stress, danger, depression, moral struggle for states system and fear for the future. At the same time, nihilism is still a strong phenomenon in the society of Georgia.

ACTUAL ART is a project with idea of transforming vital images from the Georgian reality through artistic-aesthetic concepts. In hope to cause a strong social impact, emphasize the notion of actuality, which obtains a new artistic sense: any action of an artist is directed at getting the

Georgian society involved in the country's process of rehabilitation following the war.
HEARTBEAT OF THE COUNTRY became project’s main theme. Occupation, war and tragedy needed observation from intellectuals and artists, whether still living in Georgia or some place else.
First of all the aim was to create a mobile representation, which will reach regions as Gori, Akhaltsikhe, Rustavi, Telavi and Signagi. Most of the exhibitions in province took place at unusual spaces like a theatre lobby, restaurants and conference halls and the expositions were definitely reflexive actions.
Secondly, the goal was to popularize contemporary Georgian art outside of the capital city, within presentation of dynamical political tendencies, new perspectives of thinking and cultural decentralization.

Contemporary and active Georgian artists were supported by artist’s group “Caravansarai Artistic Exchange – Paris" that provide the project with its strengthened. The exhibition offered and encourage mix of experimentation, new media and traditional art as: painting, prints, sculpture, photo, video, body art and etc'. Events were accompanied with alternative electronic music.

Artists achieved synthesis of critical thinking and artistic creation, necessary for their role in society, moreover personal fulfillment and ability to influence the surroundings.
My colleagues Alexandra Gabunia, Shalva Khakhanashvili and I had huge interest and motivation from the beginning to start up the project and the main vision was to raise consciousness throughout contemporary art. Professional curatorial work and contribution with talented artists created the rhythm of the extraordinary events.

Artist’s HEARTBEAT balanced on invisible border, made possible to enter depths of objects and events.

Telavi, 20 of August 2009, Ketevan Iashvili's art gallery hosted exhibition “YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE HEARTBEAT OF MY COUNTRY".
Exposition was over, hall was empty. Just one lady stared intently at the wall.
From time to time there were sounds of video-art, fragment phrases –"defend me, my beautiful dress, bread and butter, and sound of water" outward breath and song phrase " waiting for my sweetheart from afar”.
The lady burst out with gratifying words, grieves for the present situation and added her own phrase “My name is homeland”.

For the lady video art was most effective medium to take ACTUAL ART to her heart and for ACTUAL ART constructive dialogue between art and nation was accomplished!
